S.M.ART School Rules

1. Students under age thirteen must be brought / picked up by the parent or guardian to / from our waiting room on the second floor (Room #201A). No one is allowed to wait outside in the corridor.


2. Parents are required to ensure that their child has a notebook and a pen for class. If mobile phones, radios, Mp3 players and other such devices are brought into school, they must be switched off and put away during the class. If a student needs to make a call he/she has to step out off a classroom.


3. No food is allowed in the class. If student would like to eat his/her lunch he/she could do it only during a break.


4. We expect respectful behavior outside of the office suite (in the corridor and bathroom areas). Leaving trash on the floor and other such abuses are not allowed.


5. The visitors of S.M.ART School occupy the Guest Parking Area for no more than one hour. They must not leave their car blocking the access to the parking nor take up more than one slot. Parking is allowed on the upper parking lot when gates are opened.


6. Presence of parents in the class room during the session may disrupt the class, and therefore we do not allow parents to stay in the class while a lesson is in progress. If there is an important reason for a parent to be present, exception can be made in advance, only in small groups, and only when other parents agree upon the arrangement.


7. If teachers find the behavior of a particular student inappropriate and disruptive to the class they may ask the student to sit in time- out for one or two minutes. If such behavior continues, warning of a possible termination will be passed to the parents. If a student does not respond to the requests and warnings, then the school may terminate the enrollment of the student.
